This licence applies to PS5 Backport GUI itself. Third-party components bundled
with or used by PS5 Backport GUI are governed by their own licences, reproduced
in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt. Nothing in this licence limits the rights those
licences grant.

1. Limited licence

Subject to these terms, you are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive,
non-transferable licence to download, install, and run the compiled PS5
Backport GUI application for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Restrictions

Except with prior written permission from the copyright holder, you may not:

- copy or redistribute the application, other than making a reasonable backup
  copy for your own use;
- sell, rent, lease, sublicense, host, or commercially exploit the application;
- modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from the application;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application, except to the
  limited extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction;
- remove or alter copyright, trademark, attribution, or proprietary notices; or
- claim ownership of the application or its source code.

3. Your games and consoles

PS5 Backport GUI modifies copies of game files that you supply. You are
responsible for using it only with games and consoles you are entitled to use,
and for complying with all applicable laws and terms. Results are not
guaranteed: a completed backport may not launch or run correctly. Keep your
original files and backups.

4. Ownership

PS5 Backport GUI is licensed, not sold. No source code or intellectual-property
rights are transferred to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

5. No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PS5 Backport GUI is provided
"as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express,
implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a
particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the copyright holders and
contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special,
consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill,
arising from the application or its use, including damage to game files, save
data, or consoles.

7. Termination

This licence terminates automatically if you materially breach these terms. On
termination, you must stop using and delete your copies of PS5 Backport GUI.
